Rajeev Manjrekar is an alumnus of SIBM, Pune (Batch of ’97) with an MBA in Marketing and graduation in Statistics from Pune University. He is an avid trekker and has a passion to travel and explore places. He is also an amateur photographer and loves experimenting with food. He is a visiting faculty at few MBA Institutes in Pune, conducts workshops and talks on entrepreneurship development on which he is a subject matter expert. He strongly feels for the entrepreneurial eco system and is a part of TiE Pune chapter and an active member of Indian Staffing Federation (ISF).

Expert in handling mid-size business operations with over two decades of experience in corporate and startup environment, he has been applying conventional marketing strategies with a blend of new age Technology and Data Science.

Rajeev is currently consulting a few staffing companies on consolidation of their business through M&A route as an Investment Banker and arranging funds for the growth of Small and Medium Enterprises (SME) and Technology Start Ups.

He is actively mentoring a few budding entrepreneurs in Food Tech, Ed Tech, HR Tech and Fin Tech domains in India, Hong Kong, Singapore and Dubai. He is also associated with Faster Capital UAE (fastercapital.com/mentor/rajeev-manjrekar.html) and is also working with Dubai World Trade Centre for their upcoming startup event GITEX 2019 (www.gitexfuturestars.com).

He started his entrepreneurial journey in 2013 with two ventures of his own - MYSEARCH (Hyper Local Search App) and SKILLSTORY (Staffing Automation Product) as a Co-Founder and has hands on experience in driving offline sales strategies and online digital marketing for building traction.

He has earlier worked with Adecco S.A. as a Zonal Business Head, he was responsible for P&L of staffing business of its Large Corporate Vertical in India. Prior to that he has worked in Banking for almost 11 years. As a Client Banker with ICICI Bank, he played a strategic role in providing commercial banking solutions to its Corporate Clients. He has also headed the regional teams of ICICI Bank’s SME and Mortgage Finance business.
